The World Horror Convention,Austin, Texas is an annual gathering of
professionals in the horror industry; publishers, authors, artists, musicians, filmmakers, dealers
and, of course, horror fans. WHC serves as both an industry insider’s networking event and a chance
for fans of the genre to get together, meet some of the creative talents in the field, and generally
spend a weekend celebrating All Things Scary.

Arcana is a long-running horror convention that bills itself as "a convention of the dark fantastic." Arcana is
held annually in late September or early October in St. Paul, Minnesota and typically features a famous author or
artist from the dark fantasy genre as its guest of honor. Arcana programming includes a variety of panels, talks,
and films, plus an interview and reading with the Guest of Honor.

World Fantasy Convention
-San Diego, CA"The seas" of all kinds have been an ongoing theme in fantasy, covering
everything from the "Flying Dutchman" to "The Ship Who Sang". But the seas of imagination denote
more than just literal waters of various worlds. They include the lands to which we sail; the
plants, animals, and people we find; and artists’ renderings of these exotic lands. We will
explore all these and more. |
